Gedicht - Poetry - Broken Mirror

Broken mirror

I´ve been to many places
I´ve spoken to many people
But the most i´ve seen
Was that inside of me.

Looking to one place
Finding other things
Searching for a new way
Meeting myself in front of a broken mirror.

Where to go?
What to find?
What to look for?
Nothing but peaces of a broken mirror.
(RP, Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, 11th January 2009)

Sterren in de tuin

Witte reigers
Vliegen over het dak
Dat zijn regels
Geen uitzondering
Met hun hemelse bekken
Zingen de mussen
Opzoek naar een onderdak
Leven en niet uitsterven
Achter in de tuin
Bloeien de sterren
Tussen schijn en werkelijkheid
Wachtend op de warme zomertijd

Talking about Potatoes and Tomatoes

I use to say “POTETOES”,
he says Potatoes
But EU says:
Aardappel, Batata, Pomme de Terre, Kartoffel, Krompur, Patate, Kaptof, Kartul, Perunce, Pomme de Terre, TTaTaT, Burgonya, Pratai, Kartöflu, Krumpir, Kartupele, Bulvés, Potet, Ziemniak, Cartof, Zominakof, Pootatis.
Now you want me to go through the same again?
do the list with tomatoes?
pay the bill and hold YOU the hot potatoes!
give a break,
not a pussycat.
